The Athletic Association board consists of parents of St. John the Baptist students. The terms of the board coincide with the length of time their child participates in the athletic programs or are students at our elementary school.

What is the Athletic Association?

• The St. John’s Athletic Association mission is to offer “no-cut” Girls Volleyball, Boys Basketball, Girls Cheerleading, Girls Basketball, Boys Volleyball, and Co-ed Track to our 5^th grade, 6^th grade, 7^th grade, and 8^th grade students.

• We maintain all sporting equipment associated with the school.

• We staff the entrance table, concession stand and scoring table for all home games.

• We install and maintain the playground equipment and the grounds at school.

• We organize all games, practices and needed coaches for all teams (via the Athletic Director position).

• We organize Intramural Girls Volleyball and Boys Basketball for all 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, 5^tth, 6^th and 7^th grade students.

• We offer a $500 yearly Eichhorn Scholarship to graduating high school seniors that attended St. John and played at least one sport.

• We sponsor the annual Sport Banquet and Awards Night.

• We organize and maintain the finances of the Association through the Booster Club.
